The Date

To help showcase how impersonal dating has become, we used AI technology to show how two chatbots on a “date” would actually sound.

We fed survey responses from daters around the world into AI chatbot algorithms to generate hundreds of first date conversations. From these hundreds of dialogue strings, the team cut down a final, representative conversation between them. Not surprisingly, their algorithm-driven conversation sounded all too predictably familiar.
